About the Role:
Lost & Found Restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an energetic and team-oriented Backserver to join our front-of-house crew! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic dining experience where hospitality and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. Backservers are responsible for ensuring that service runs smoothly in cooperation with dining room assistants, service captains, and management. Your main tasks will be clearing and delivering food and beverage, taking orders and presenting checks, food knowledge and understanding, and overall physical service and service management.
Responsibilities:
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and accurate manner
- Greet and assist guests with water service, bread service, and other table needs
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain dining room flow
- Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and side work areas
- Assist with running food from the kitchen and confirming order accuracy before delivery
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, friendly hospitality throughout the dining experience
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required — we're happy to train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for guest service
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
