About the Role:
Lost & Found Restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to be the first face our guests see! If you love creating warm & welcoming experiences for guests in a friendly hospitality atmosphere, we would love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a positive, friendly attitude
- Manage reservations and waitlists using host stand software or seating charts
- Escort guests to tables and ensure proper table turnover and floor management
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations during peak hours
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
- Coordinate guest "research" and ensure communication of guest knowledge is relayed to both kitchen and dining room staff
Requirements:
- Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume dining environment
- Warm, professional demeanor with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Lost & Found Restaurant is a brand new restaurant in the heart of Pittsburgh, specifically in the Shadyside neighborhood. We are incredibly passionate about the warmest hospitality, great drink & food, and having a great time with each other. This is a small, family owned restaurant that thrives on the entire team building our culture together. We hope to see you as a part of our opening team!
Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
